Community Involvement And Support
The Truck Factory is passionate about helping out South Australians who find themselves in need of a hand on the road. We also recognise that we wouldn’t be where we are today without the support of our valued customers who continue to rely on our business. For this reason, we strive to get involved with our community as much as possible, support other local businesses and organisations, and give back wherever we can.
We are immensely proud sponsors of the East Gambier Football Club, and the Two Wells Football Club. Additionally, we have lent our trucks to the Mount Gambier Christmas Pageant, and have also been involved with the Novita foundation’s Convoy for kids. Part of the proceeds raised through this project went to Novita Children’s Services, which endeavours to provide support, services and equipment to children and teenagers living with a disability, as well as to their families and carers. As well as this, we have supported various local charities at the Roseworthy Show N Shine.
We’ve also had the opportunity to take part in the Livestock Dinner at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and the South Australian Road Transport dinner at the convention centre. By attending great events like these, we are able to help raise awareness for fantastic causes such as supporting those with breast cancer.
It is our great privilege to have been involved in such events as the Rotary Career Expo, the Gawler General Motors Day, the SA Truck and Ute Show, and the Mannum Truck and Ute Show. All in relaxed environments, these projects allowed us to connect with the community, get to know our customers and industry on a more personal level, and most importantly, educate children on heavy vehicles and vehicle repairs. Teaching the younger generation about heavy vehicles, and in some cases, introducing them to the prospect of a career in the industry, always puts huge smiles on our faces and leaves us feeling satisfied.
